The Jefferson County Economic and Industrial Development Authority (JCEIDA) was formed in 1995 with the mission to provide an inventory of commercial sites for new and expanding businesses.

With many locations and over 200 acres of land ready for development, The Jefferson County EIDA and the Jefferson Metropolitan Park System have a site that can accommodate your company’s needs!

Our organization has a proven track record to streamline the process of securing utilities in Jefferson County, Alabama. Bringing utility providers together to meet with your site team to connect you with direct contacts with key services in order to help you compress development time. Jefferson County EIDA sites are located in developed locations with existing road infrastructure and established utilities available. Jefferson County Metropolitan Park at Lakeshore

The Jefferson Metropolitan Park at Lakeshore consists of 337 acres located in the Oxmoor Valley area in the city of Birmingham. The property is owned and developed by Jefferson County EIDA. All parcels have been zoned mixed use (MXD), with infrastructure designed to support the requirements of light industrial, data centers, research and development or other mixed use development. The property is located approximately 5 miles from Interstate 65 and 7 miles from Interstate 459.

Jefferson County Metropolitan Park at McCalla

Jefferson Metropolitan Park at McCalla consists of 739 acres located in the southwest corner of Jefferson County, AL. Bordered by Old Tuscaloosa Highway (U.S. 11) to the northwest and Norfolk Southern Railroad to the southeast, the property is owned and developed by Jefferson County EIDA. All parcels have been zoned for light industrial use, with infrastructure designed to support the requirements of large manufacturing facilities. The property is located approximately 1 mile from Interstate 20/59 and 2 miles from Interstate 459.
