The Jefferson County Economic and Industrial Development Authority (JCEIDA) was formed in 1995 with the mission to provide an inventory of commercial sites for new and expanding businesses.

With over 21 years of experience as President and Chief Executive Officer of a regional economic development board, 7 years as CEO of a private consulting firm, 12 years in senior economic development positions in Tennessee State government and three years in command positions with US Military, Mr. vonCannon has been involved in numerous private and governmental projects. Most notably Mr. vonCannon has been a senior member of the negotiating teams that secured the Nissan and Saturn projects in Tennessee and Mercedes and Honda in Alabama.
